Resistor Ordering Guide

Resistors are ordered in the following manner. Please note that a value such as 4.7Ω is expressed in the form of 4R7, where R becomes the decimal point. Integer values of resistance, such as 1Ω, are expressed in the form of 1R0, with a trailing zero after the R (the decimal point).

For example, to order a 4.7Ω 9W Ceramic Resistor, the part number is R9W-4R7.
To order a 68Ω 100W Aluminium Clad Resistor, the part number is R100-68R0.

Please note that all resistors are ±5%, and are available in the E24 series. Most resistors are held in stock, and those that are not are afforded a 2-3 working day lead time.
